Electrical fitter/Mechanic

Griffiths Hire Shops Ltd are looking to recruit an Electrical Fitter/Mechanic based at our shop in Rhostyllen 

Duties 

Routine maintenance, repair & PDI the electric & battery tools that we hire & sell ranging  from small hand tools up to the larger floor-mounted tools on our hire fleet in a warm tidy workshop where priority is the quality of work opposed to quantity.

Requirements 

. Attention to detail and a methodical approach

. Good communicator and customer care 

. Able to work on own initiative or as part of a team

. Basic computer skills needed to log results, replenish stocks etc

. Keen to embrace new training opportunities which may result in staying away from home on occasion 

Hire industry experience would be advantageous but not essential to the right candidate

Wages negotiable depending on experience and training required.

Additional

Trade counter sales person wanted dependant on the right candidate  - Rhostyllen Branch 

HGV Driver Class - C/class 2 up to 18 ton

Griffiths Hire Shops Ltd are looking to recruit a C/class 2 HGV driver based at our shop in Rhostyllen

Successful candidate will mainly be delivering Access equipment (MEWPS) mini excavators & dumpers up to 6 ton although will also be required to deliver the smaller items in our fleet in other vehicles occasionally.

The right candidate must be a team player with a can-do attitude and carry out his/her duties in a professional, methodical and efficient manner.

As the public face of Griffiths hire shops you must be well presented & a good communicator.

Experience in the hire industry or a knowledge of construction/gardening or engineering will be an advantage.
